Sadly, I only met David when the mist was already descending but we did talk about shared memories of his life in Hertfordshire. He obviously loved his life there with Susanne and I could see flashes of his brilliant mind when he modesty spoke about some of his research projects he had been involved with. Over the years I’ve known him, even once the mist turned to fog, I rarely saw him without a smile n his face. Rest in peace my friend

I am I and you are you, whatever we were to each other that we still are. Speak to me in the easy way which you always used. Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight? Life means all that it ever meant, it is the same as it ever was.
